About Me
Welcome to Jenn Eatherington Acupuncture clinic.
I’m Jenn, a qualified Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncturist. I proudly graduated from the Northern College of Acupuncture in York, I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council and both myself and my clinic are licensed by Rushcliffe Borough Council in Nottinghamshire.
Finding a practitioner is a very personal choice – I know that from my own experience, and to allow you to make your own choice, I wanted to share a little of my personal story as to how I became an acupuncturist and perhaps this will be of interest and resonate.
I discovered acupuncture in 2009 when I was suffering with serious, life impacting, back pain. After exploring the routine remedies and therapies for back pain, I decided to give acupuncture a try. That first appointment and the results thereafter changed my whole outlook on health and how the body functions. My back pain was in fact as a direct result of emotional stress and life pressures that had become too much. It was my body telling me ‘enough was enough’, time for change. Continued acupuncture treatment had such a profound impact on my health overall and was at the core of my improved wellbeing at that time in my life. I invest in regular acupuncture treatment for myself and have done so for many years.
In the following years, I took steps to better understand what acupuncture was and I knew in my heart this was what I wanted to do. I had experienced acupuncture as a patient and it resulted in me wanting to be a practitioner! I had been a part of the corporate world for a long time which had become more and more unfulfilling and I wanted to commit to finding a professional path that made my heart sing.
Since qualifying, I am doing exactly what I knew I was meant to do – sharing the power of acupuncture and supporting people to nurture their health through every life stage. I invite you to give acupuncture a try and see how it can support you with your health and wellbeing.
